Oulton Park’s Gold Cup is not all about the racing, with fantastic off-track entertainment all weekend 2017’s Gold Cup is set to be the most enjoyable yet. This year presents the largest military display in the events history, and more live music than ever before.
The 2017 Oulton Park Gold Cup brings together the biggest, and most diverse military displays to date. The event will feature WWII military camps, weaponry and vehicle displays with both German and Allied re-enactors, an American Civil war camp new for 2017, and Winston Churchill (not the real one). The displays for 2017 include a collection of Jeeps, Opel Blitz Truck, M8 Greyhound, a German Kubelwagan, a German Half-track, Messerschmitt 109 (subject to availability), an authentic American Civil War Camp with up to 50 re-enactors, and much more.
2017’s Gold Cup marks more live music than ever before, with performances celebrating vintage entertainment from a variety of great musicians and dancers. The line-up includes crowd favourites The Belladonna Brigade and Don Gentile, as well as a host of new performers for 2017 such as Lindy Hop Swing Dancers, Natasha Harper, and DJ Dapper Dan.
