Darwin Smith became the latest driver to etch his name into the Oulton Park history books with two victories in the Historic F2 FIA International Race Series to claim this year’s edition of the Historic Gold Cup this weekend.
The Oulton Park Gold Cup’s 2017 race programme kicked off in fine style this afternoon (Sunday) with Darwin Smith claiming the spoils in the first of this weekend’s two Historic Sports Car Club Formula 2 International Series races.
Advance booking is now closed, but tickets will be available on the gate throughout the whole event.

Oulton Park’s past will be recreated in more ways than one at the Historic Gold Cup this August Bank Holiday Weekend (26-28 August), including its time as a World War II US Army staging camp with major displays within the circuit’s infield area.
