Oulton Park’s signature Historic Gold Cup celebrates its 70th anniversary with three days of nostalgic entertainment this weekend (26-28 July), with showpiece Saturday and Sunday race days.

Track action will be overseen by the Historic Sports Car Club, with a curated selection of races including powerful Formula 5000s in the Derek Bell Trophy, and Historic Formula 3, which will compete for the Gold Cup trophy.

Further highlights will include the Historic Grand Prix Car Association, plus Historic Formula Junior and grids from Motor Racing Legends, the Cooper 500 Owners Association, Classic Sports Car Club, Vintage Sports-Car Club and Ferrari Club Classic.

There's also an extensive off-track show. Car displays, vintage music, a special Oulton Park exhibition and much more will add to the distinct flavour of this key social fixture on Cheshire’s automotive calendar.

Grandstand Seating

Upgrade to the best view in the house! All three of our grandstands will be open on Saturday and Sunday. The price shown below is the cost per day.

=Old Hall

Old Hall

Located at the end of the long start/finish straight, Old Hall provides high drama and tension at the start of the race plus overtaking attempts as the event progresses. You’ll also see duels take place on the run down the hill to Cascades.

One of the slowest corners on the track, you’ll see plenty of passing attempts as the field heads out of the fast Druids corner and down the long straight. It’s also the final corner on the circuit, and the scene of many last lap dramas.

This is one of the most exciting spots on the whole Oulton Park circuits as the cars rapidly decelerate from the high speed hill top straight into a tricky little chicane. This is one of the best overtaking spots on the circuit!
